Résumé zum 26. Kolloquium »Design promoviert«

English version below

Für Promotionseinsteiger hat die Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst ihren kostenlosen Online-Vorbereitungskurs »MOOC – Preparing for a Practice-based PhD in Fine Art, Design, and Film« vorgestellt.

The 26th colloquium »Design promoviert« took place on June 4th 2022 at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts Kiel in a hybrid format.

Presentations on design thinking in schools, design after death, speculative design, the factor of aesthetics in science communication, prototyping in sustainability transformation and the design of trust in algorithmic systems once again displayed the broad spectrum of cross-sectional topics and methodological fields in which interested, prospective and advanced doctoral design students are researching.
In addition to the speakers, around 40 interested took part in the colloquium and contributed to the discussion with questions about doctoral studies in design. Furthermore, we took on requests for future support during or in preparation for the doctorate.

The Lucerne School of Art and Design presented its free online preparation course »MOOC – Preparing for a Practice-based PhD in Fine Art, Design, and Film«.

Until the upcoming colloquium in January 2023, we will fill the time gap with regional regulars’ tables. The first one will take place in Berlin on 22.07.2022.

Many thanks to all participants.
